African Paradise

This weekend we traveled to Elmina, which in right by Cape Coast. It is so beautiful! Our hotel is right on the Atlantic Ocean, but it isn't the safest to swim in because there are a lot of rocks in the water. The sand in also made up of tiny pebbles, which makes walking in it a lot more difficult than regular sand. But it is gorgeous. These pictures I took have no editing, it is all natural beauty. God really knew what he was doing when he created this African Paradise.

The hotel that we are staying at is incredible! It is a resort that is located on the beach and has a golf course, horse riding, crocodile lakes (but you cant ride the crocodiles obviously), fish ponds, and it is gorgeous. They definitely hooked us up for this weekend. I went on a walk and explored around a bit. Here is a donkey, who I named Ernesto because he was given me the Ernesto vibe, and a mommy horse with her baby! So precious :)

Ashley and I went horse riding on the beach! It was so fun, but I had the wild horse! She got spooked by everything and would randomly take off running. I almost fell off of her three times! It was insane! Her name was Nshyra, which means "Blessed," so naturally I took that name as God looking out for me. Well, God was looking out for me to have a good story to tell because she was a crazy horse. Ashley got Alfa and he was nice and calm and walked like a royal horse.
